VMMG currently shelters approximately 4,000 orphaned cows and bulls. The average daily cost of food, water, medical treatment, and maintenance is approximately ₹95 per animal per day. This translates into a substantial monthly and annual expenditure required to sustain the gaushala. While the Government of Rajasthan contributes approximately 35%–40% of the total annual expenses, the remaining funds must be raised through donations from compassionate individuals and organizations. The gap between available funds and actual requirements continues to grow, making community support essential.
